JJWMC's very own Madyson Davis planned and hosted a regional webinar titled “Beyond the Game: Black Athletes in Non-Traditional Sports.” This impactful event drew nearly 100 attendees and focused on breaking barriers while sharing success strategies for future athletes. Participants from Jack and Jill chapters across the Eastern Region resonated with the challenges and obstacles discussed, while the panelists offered valuable tips and strategies for overcoming them. 

As the Eastern Regional Nominating Chair (RTNC), Madyson is committed to continuing this initiative by encouraging Jack and Jill members from the Eastern Region to share photos of themselves playing sports, fostering a sense of connection and representation among young athletes.
