Caring for and serving in our community is a core component of our chapter activities. We partner with the Boys & Girls Club of Frederick County, AARCH Society, and the Maryland Food Bank where we give our time and resources to help these organizations serve residents in our communities. In addition to these partnerships, throughout the program year we collect personal care items for teens from low income families and donate gently used clothing, books and toys to the local homeless shelter.
Our largest single day of service is on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday where our entire chapter comes together to assemble food care packages for families in need, make blankets for children at the local hospital, and write letters of encouragement to sick and shut in children.
