Little Suns When you plant seeds early, young minds blossom. Our Little Suns ages 2 - Kindergarten participate in activities centered around health, STEM and caring for others. New and different experiences awaken their curiosity and help them explore the world around them. | The Keys Our 1st through 3rd graders are full of energy – and curiosity! Programs centered around civic duty, STEM, the arts and African American history are the types of activities our Keys participate in with their friends. They are learning their ideas matter and that their voice is important not just for themselves but for those in their communities. |
Mountain Movers Our 4th and 5th graders are our Mountain Movers. In addition to service, STEM, and healthy living, we take a deeper dive into history, civic duty, and start learning about the importance of money. Our Mountain Movers are young leaders in the making! | Trailblazers Our middle school scholars are on the move! Their experiences are becoming more robust as they immerse themselves in learning more about the legislative process, money management, and how to serve with excellence in their community. African American history is highlighted more during this time to give our Mountain Movers pride in how our ancestors helped build this nation and change the world. |
Umoja Movement
Our Teens, dynamic 9th-12th graders, are now leading themselves.
They hold elected positions similar to the mothers’ positions and hold monthly business meetings to develop and participate in activities that align with our National Thrusts. An emphasis is placed on community service, leadership and completing financial modules that teach necessary skills to assume leadership positions through high school, college, the workforce, and the community.
