Greetings, and welcome to the Western Maryland Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
On behalf of the mothers and families of the wonderful Western Maryland Chapter, I warmly welcome you to our online home! It is my privilege to share the work, dedication, and spirit of our chapter as we continue to uplift children, families, and our community. We invite you to learn about the transformative experiences curated by our dedicated Mothers to promote leadership development, cultural awareness, philanthropic giving, legislative advocacy and community service for future African American leaders.
Jack and Jill of America, Inc was established in 1938 with the mission to provide social, cultural, and educational opportunities for children ages 2-19. There are currently 271 chapters representing over 50,000 families. The Western Maryland chapter was established in 2014 and since that time we have grown and accomplished so much.
In July 2025, at the Eastern Region 34th Biennial Mothers Conference, our chapter was honored to receive four Regional Awards. These recognitions celebrated our superlative activities in Programming, Legislative Advocacy, and Community Service, along with a distinguished Treasurer’s Award. Each honor reflects the hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment of our members to excellence and service. That is why we are known as the small but mighty Western Maryland Chapter!
I am honored to serve as President of the wonderful Western Maryland Chapter. I invite you to visit our chapter’s website to learn more about how we will continue to enrich the lives of children and families throughout our community. Together, we remain committed to excellence, service, and making a lasting impact.
Yours in Service,
Yokechia Kenyatta
2025-2027 President
