On January 26, 2024 Associate Jewel Tracy Hilliard was part of a select group of principals from around the nation invited to the White House to discuss gun safety and the impact on schools. Those in attendance were joined by First Lady Jill Biden and the United States Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona.
