    Please join Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and the Western Maryland Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated for our first annual HBCU Fair.

    Come visit with colleges from all over the country.

    We will also have a workshop from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm on financial literacy.

    Join Alderman Roger Wilson and Stuart Harvey, Director of the Frederick County Board of Elections at this upcoming Town Hall meeting! Alderman Wilson will be discussing this year's legislative accomplishments, as well as the opportunities and challenges facing the City of Frederick in the upcoming months. Mr. Harvey will be discussing what the public can expect for the upcoming November election. Remarks will be followed by an open Q and A session, and light refreshments will be served.

    2018 NAMI National Convention

    The NAMI National Convention is one of the largest annual gatherings of mental health advocates in the nation. The 2018 NAMI National Convention will convene at the Sheraton New Orleans on Canal St. in the heart of New Orleans, June 27 -30.

    This year's theme "Live. Learn. Share hope." describes the NAMI experience. Our collective voice spreads hope that recovery is possible and families can be whole again.

    The NAMI National Convention connects people affected by mental illness who are looking for resources, research and support. Attendees include individuals with mental illness, family members, caregivers, advocates, policymakers, educators, researchers, clinicians and press.
